From the definition above, you’ll think, maybe a lot of people will think the same. Live is a beauty peagant contest (for the woman). Kita bersaing untuk mendapatkan hadiah utama yang selalu kita idam-idamkan : ( Our prince charming- who gets all of us to think about the “live happily ever after” ending. Just like a fairy tales ) –buahahahhaha klise gals….totally clise!
And to win the contest we have to be very beauty. ONLY the matter of beauty???? Hmm…. Is this still the same world we used to live in decades before. Where beauty RULES among other qualities?
Is it always like what Franz said?
The most BEAUTIFUL girl gets the best and the most qualified man as known as the most ELIGIBLE man?

Sebagai politisi (ini kata om Aris lho a.k.a Aristoteles- manusia adalah mahluk politik sebab manusia tidak pernah lepas dari politik dan karena itulah politik menjadi master of science). Dan politik adalah masalah kepentingan: siapa mendapatkan apa, kapan dan untuk berapa lama.

Laki- laki dari kecil dididik dan dipersiapkan buat jadi pencari nafkah utama keluarga, to have power in a family. Then as we know, in our society today, money is (unfortunately)the driving force. Money is power, artinya …… the more money they make the more powerful they are, ataaaauuuuuuu sebaliknya….
As for us, we’ve always been told to be and to always look nice, beautiful.
We recognize and learn that beauty is an another form of power.
Well, it is. Cantik itu kekuatan. Just like sex, cantik punya kekuatan dan pengaruh -yang bisa dibilang sangat kuat- to get people addicted in some ways. It explaining the combination between “the richest guy and the most beautiful girl” . Atau mungkin bisa juga menjelaskan penyakit puber kedua laki-laki, yang punya istri muda ato simpanan setelah mereka punya uang lebih banyak dan menjadi lebih berkuasa (I hate this part honestly).
Karena, -in my opinion- hidup itu pada dasarnya is about exchanging power! Just like in politics.
From power to money, from money to beauty.
But, people also change. Kita mulai lebih cerdas, karena kesempatan belajar dan memahami hidup menjadi lebih luas dan lebih terbuka untuk perempuan. Lalu jadi lebih mandiri secara financial dan psikologis. Dan cowok juga kadang berubah menjadi lebih cantik .. lebih metro tepatnya!!!
